The Risk Appraisal Forum was founded as a study group in 1976 by a group of Independent Life Brokerage Agency principals who all specialized in the art and science of impaired risk underwriting. Our mission is to build communication with Home Office Underwriters, Medical Directors and Reinsurers, and to discover advances in medicine and mortality improvements which can be applied within the life insurance underwriting process.

The 2025 Annual Risk Appraisal Forum Fall Meeting will take place October 22nd through the 24th in the vibrant Bridge Park district of Dublin, Ohio.

This year’s Forum will be hosted at Brick House Blue, a modern meeting space located in the heart of Bridge Park—Dublin’s premier walkable neighborhood filled with restaurants, bars, and cafes.
Attendees will stay at the stylish AC Hotel Columbus Dublin, conveniently located just below VASO Rooftop Lounge—Columbus’ top-rated rooftop bar and the site of our scenic welcome reception.
